Our Grótta Aurora Apartment and Rooms allow for a gorgeous sea view, as well as the Grótta Lighthouse with the Snæfellsnes volcano behind. 150 meters away, you can find our beautiful Blue House, where you can enjoy the self-service breakfast. If you want to explore the culture of Iceland’s capital Reykjavik, a nice walk to the Downtown area is all it takes to be surrounded by a variety of museums, stores, restaurants and bars.

Self check-in
At the Grótta Aurora Lights Apartment and Rooms we want to give you the greatest flexibility. That’s why we created our self-service check-in and Breakfast at our partner location the Blue House.
- One day before your arrival, you receive an email with all details
which allows you to check-in as late as you wish on your own - You can enjoy our Breakfast as early as you need until 10.30 am at our partner location the Blue House only 100m by foot.
- We offer a full Breakfast selection with our home-baked bread
